However, Ten Hag has survived INEOS’ review of the club’s season and will be in charge next term.
Per The Times, Sir Dave Brailsford, Ineos' director of sport, was key in this process.
He believes that Ten Hag can succeed at United in the right circumstances.
He did not believe that sacking the manager was the best course of action for United.
