The INEOS chief was hell bent on sacking Ten Hag before the FA Cup final, with the decision expected to be made after the match on Saturday.
However, The Telegraph claims that United beating Manchester City in the final may have changed the situation.
Ratcliffe is now working with his chiefs to make a decision in due course, but may choose to keep Ten Hag.
The Dutchman is admired by many supporters, while he appeared to have the support of his players as well.
