Bayern Munich to launch bid for Liverpool defender Gomez

The Mirror says Bayern Munich are showing interest in Gomez.

New coach Vincent Kompany is looking for defensive reinforcements for next season.

And the Belgian is fond of Gomez. The fact that he can play both centre-back and wing-back is something the coach appreciates.

Last season, 27 year-old Gomez made three assists in a total of 51 competitive matches, including 31 from the start.

Gomez, who is under contract until the summer of 2027, has also  been linked with Saudi clubs.
