However, a deal does not appear on the cards, as Marca states that Wirtz has other ideas.
The Spanish outlet claims that he will be staying at Leverkusen this summer, given manager Xabi Alonso is also remaining.
He will then seek a transfer to Real Madrid in the summer of 2025, when he will be 22.
Wirtz and Alonso may both head to Real, while they are also wanted by Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
