Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has full confidence that his teammate Rio Ferdinand will get back to his best form after a recent rough trot with injuries.
The England international is currently out of action again, this time with a calf problem, and despite having some shaky moments during his playing time this season, Vidic is confident he will be back to his commanding best when he returns to fitness.
"I don't think it is a question I need to put to myself - he is a great player," said Vidic. "Over the years, he has shown how good he is. When he doesn't have injuries, he is a top-class player.
"Rio and myself have had a few injuries from the start of the season and when you have the injuries, it's difficult to get back your form and be on top of your game. In my case, I hope that's in the past."
