Tottenham striker Crouch: So easy to play with Van der Vaart

Peter Crouch admits it's a pleasure to play with Tottenham teammate Rafael van der Vaart.

The Dutch playmaker scored both goals as Spurs came from 1-0 down to record a much-needed Premier League victory after only winning one of the last four.

Crouch told talkSPORT: "He's a top-class player and playing with someone like that seems to make my job easier obviously he's reading the flick ons and he got a couple of goals today and the fans love him here already.

"It's fantastic playing with someone like that. He seems to read those flick ons and balls so well. He could have had another one today, and in midweek he got one and in training we've struck up quite a good partnership. It was a fantastic team performance, Aaron Lennon was fantastic when he came on and I think we fully deserved the win today."
