Cristiano Ronaldo has handed Real Madrid a huge boost by declaring himself fit for their clash with Osasuna.
It means Ronaldo, who has shaken off an ankle injury, should be available for Real's Champions League opener against Ajax.
Real coach Jose Mourinho said: "He will start. I fear he may suffer a blow and be injured again, but that's a normal situation in football.
"He has trained and worked at least five hours a day at Valdebebas (Madrid training ground). The medical staff and the player say that he is 100% fit and he has the same risk of getting injured as the rest of his team-mates.
"As he is fine, he will play. It's a difficult game and he will play from the first minute."
