Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers remains confident Raheem Sterling will sign a new deal.

Rodgers hopes for good news over the summer.

Asked if he has an update, Rodgers told talkSPORT: "Not that I'm aware of. I think it was pretty clear a couple of months ago we were going to wait until the end of the season.

"That hasn't affected him. He still comes in every day and trains hard. He's a wonderful boy.

"We're hopeful that in the summer that can get sorted out."
