Real Madrid captain Raul admits the club's image has been damaged by Ramon Calderon's resignation. Raul said: "There are situations that one cannot control. The worst affected for us is the image and history of the club. It is clear that we are not happy and the club has to offer another image abroad.
"So I want to improve in the coming months, achieve stability for the club and put Real Madrid where it deserves."
On the prospect of Florentino Perez returning as president, Raul insisted: "We have an election and the members will have to vote for the best project. I do not know if Florentino plans to stand."
