Manchester United are set to go after Bastian Schweinsteiger this summer.

Reports suggest that the Red Devils are readying a £10million bid for the Bayern Munich midfielder who is out of contract next summer.

United boss Louis van Gaal is a massive fan of Schweinsteiger, 30, and is hoping to lure the World Cup winner to Old Trafford when the transfer window opens.

Schweinsteiger has been with the Bavarian giants for his entire career, helping them win eight Bundesliga titles, seven German Cups and the Champions League among many other trophies.
