Juventus are planning a surprise bid for Manchester City striker Rolando Bianchi.

Juve chiefs are delighted with the response of their current attacking pool, which includes David Trezeguet, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Alessandro del Piero.

But Corriere dello Sport says Juve coach Claudio Ranieri wants to boost his options further and is keen on Bianchi ahead of the January market.
