Iranian starlet Azmoun: Arsenal, AC Milan talks 'getting serious'

Rubin Kazan striker Sardar Azmoun has suggested that contract talks with both Arsenal and AC Milan have become 'serious'.

The 19-year old Iranian claims that the Gunners, the Rossoneri, Juventus and Barcelona have all shown interest in his services.

With Barcelona out of the race due to the transfer embargo imposed by FIFA, Azmoun has three clubs to choose from with Arsenal and Milan the most interested.

"I have offers from three major clubs. Arsenal, AC Milan and Juventus," Azmoun told Iranian television show Navad.

"I also had an offer from Barcelona, but due to their transfer ban the club is out of picture at the moment.

"The talks with both Milan and Arsenal are getting very serious. Both clubs have spoken to Kazan.

"But for me it's important to keep focus on Kazan. We have seven games left, I will decide after these games.

"I'm very proud to have Arsenal looking at me, but as I said, right now I'm only focusing on the Russian league."

Azmoun, who has been prolific for Iran's U20 national team, has scored three goals in 10 Russian Premier League appearances for Kazan after joining from homeland club Sepahan at the age of 17.
