Inter Milan chief Marco Branca has confirmed talks with Atletico Mineiro over the sale of Diego Forlan.

Reports of an offer from the Brazilian club have been circulating for the last few days and the Nerazzurri have now made them official.

"It's true, we received a proposal from Atletico Mineiro for Forlan. We are in talks, but I cannot give any other information at this time," Branca told Uol Esporte.

"Forlan is considering this possibility, but nothing has been decided yet. We are talking about it, but this is a complicated negotiation process."
