Indonesian billionaire family linked with A-League club

Reports in Jakarta suggest that an Indonesian billionaire family are interested in buying an A-League club.

Aburizal Bakrie, Indonesia's 10th-richest man with a net worth of $2.1billion, and his family are believed to be looking into the purchase or investment of an Australian football club.

The Bakrie family recently bought into English Championship club Leicester City and Abuziral's younger brother Nirwan owns Indonesian Super League club Pelita Jaya.

Reports in the Jakarta Post suggest that the family are looking into ways they can become involved in the A-League and extend their empire even further.
