Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante has offered to cover half the fine of Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Higuain was fined €10,000 after clashing with Mirante at the end of Sunday's 2-2 draw.

"The way I'd handle it would be I pay €5,000 and Gonzalo gets the other €5,000, that way we definitely end the whole debate," Mirante told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"After the game Gonzalo sent the message to that it was already all over for me. These things happen on the field, but a minute later it's all forgotten."
