Feyenoord face being priced out of a deal for Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

The Swede, currently on-loan with Celtic, comes off contract at City in June and is a confirmed target for Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel.

However, it's understood Guidetti's personal demands are proving too rich for Feyenoord to cover.

Former Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt has agreed to return to the Dutch giants for next season and has spoken of being joined by Guidetti.

But the prospect appears remote unless the Swede climbs down over his wage demands.
