Espanyol are interested in Inter Milan midfielder Ricky Alvarez.
The Argentine is available from Inter this summer after a disappointing first season in Europe.
Alvarez has been linked with Benfica, though Espanyol have the inside running for the midfielder thanks to their close relationship with Inter established during Philippe Coutinho's loan spell last season.
