Diego Lopez has signed a new deal with Villarreal.
Despite interest arriving from England and Italy, Lopez has extended his contract to 2014 with Villarreal after a superb first season at the Yellow Submarines.
Lopez arrived at Villarreal from Real Madrid and has played a major role in their superb Liga campaign this term.
