Derry eyeing positive FA Cup results for QPR

QPR veteran Shaun Derry feels a good run in the FA Cup will help the club lift themselves up the Premier League table.

The West Londoners meet League One MK Dons at Stadium mk in the third round of the competition tomorrow and midfielder Derry is eyeing victory before a lengthy run in the famous cup.

"The league is our priority, clearly," he told the club's official website.

"But as we are on such a bad run results-wise at the minute, our view is that a win is a win, and I would love it to come on Saturday in the FA Cup.

"I would love to have a Cup run because I have never really had that in my career.

"But the most important thing for us is to get back to winning ways."
