Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard knows one way of winning over West Ham United fans - winning the World Cup!
The Three Lions midfielder admits he "dreams" of lifting the World Cup and becoming a soccer legend like 1966 skipper and Hammers great Bobby Moore.
Chelsea ace Lamps, who quit West Ham in 2001, said: "The memory of 1966 never goes away. People still talk about it, can still name the entire team.
"Bobby Moore was a national hero as captain, while Geoff Hurst gave the stand-out performance with a hat-trick in the final. They are all legends and that's what we could emulate.
"If we did... well, the West Ham fans might even forgive me everything!
"Maybe they'd claim me back as one of their own, the young lad who came through the West Ham academy and, like Moore, Hurst and Peters, went on to win the World Cup."
