Chelsea plotting Drogba for Pato swap

Chelsea are reportedly toying with the idea of trading Didier Drogba to AC Milan for Alexandre Pato.

As the Blues' London rivals Tottenham get ready to take on the Rossoneri in the Champions League tonight, reports suggest that there is potential for this transfer to take place this summer.

With Drogba falling slightly out of favour at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Fernando Torres in January, a move could be on the cards for the Ivory Coast international whilst Pato is admired by Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The 21-year old has a terrific strike-rate in the Serie A with Milan, netting 47 goals in just 94 appearances since 2007, and rumours suggest that he could be head for London at the end of the current season with Drogba and £18million going to the San Siro according to talkSPORT.
