AC Milan have invited LA Galaxy star David Beckham to spend the MLS offseason with them. Adriano Galliani, the Milan vice president, said: "If Beckham wants to come here and train with us I am certain there won't be any problems. I don't know what his intentions are but he's welcome here."

Training with Milan's Brazilian superstars Ronaldinho and Kaka might appeal to the former England captain while Posh would no doubt enjoy shopping in the city regarded as Italy's fashion capital.
