The winger was plagued with injury. In total there were only seven league games, of which four were from the start.

"I have had some injuries, the team has done very well without me, I have felt good, but then the coach must feel the same in the moment. He's made the choices he's made, I've been professional and trained, then I can't say much more. I know what I can do," he tells Hallands Nyheter.

"The situation has not been optimal. I didn't get to play any pre-season games with AZ because they were going to sell me. Sales were delayed and I picked up a thigh injury that prevented me from training. Once I got to Bologna, the season had started and they had managed to play a team together, so I can understand Thiago (Motta, head coach last season)."

However, the Swede announces that there are no plans at all to leave the Italian club.

"I want to stay in Bologna. I haven't had any thoughts of moving. That is what I have thought and what I have trained for."

The Swede's contract with Bologna runs until the summer of 2028.
