The Argentine has been with the Citizens since arriving from Vélez Sarsfield in 2023.
However, he has spent most of that time away, going to Las Palmas in La Liga last term.
Perrone told Marca: "We reached an agreement that there will be one more transfer.
“I think that to continue with the adaptation, one more year in La Liga would be the best."
On going back to Las Palmas, he added: “I think you have to look at the options. It's still very early. You have to take it calmly and choose the best option.
“I was looking to do my first season in Europe and I think it has been very good. I have played around 30 games and started most of them. I knew it was going to come and it wasn't going to be right from the start, that I had to fight and, in the end, I managed to play a lot. I'll stick with that.”
