He is said to be with La Real president Jokin Aperribay, as the Spanish club looks to fortify its squad.Per the Manchester Evening News, Sociedad are hoping to acquire Sergio Gomez this summer.

The defender only played 47 minutes in the Premier League throughout last season.
While he does have 38 appearances for City, most of those have come from the bench.
