Borussia Dortmund attempt to low-ball Chelsea with Maatsen offer

BVB have put in an opening bid worth £21.3 million for loanee Ian Maatsen this week.

While Chelsea are willing to sell Maatsen, they are seeking a much higher fee.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano states that this will be the beginning of negotiations.

Both parties are hoping they can come to a conclusion, but Dortmund are prepared to walk away.

They are also likely to seek talks with Manchester United about loanee Jadon Sancho.
