Arsenal step up plans for Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams

Athletic Club have enjoyed an impressive season, winning a trophy with the help of the Williams brothers.

While veteran Inaki will remain at Bilbao for the time being, his younger brother Nico may be on the move.

Per The Sun, he has a £42.1 million release clause in his contract that clubs can activate.

At such a price, Arsenal will believe there is a very affordable deal to be done.

For their part, Athletic are already seeking replacements in the form of Alvaro Djalo.
