The Gunners opened talks with Real a month ago and have now been joined by United this week.
Brahim, a former Manchester City junior, could be open to a move away this summer. Next season, with the arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick, competition for places will become more intense.
Brahim has a deal with Real to 2027, which carries a €750m buyout clause.
