The Gunners take on Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday, as they look to maintain their position at the top of the table.
After beating Luton Town 2-0 without Saka, Arteta hoped the young winger would be ready to go in a few days time.

"He was close but again he felt something in a very similar area against City and it was a very short turnaround," Arteta told reporters.
"Hopefully he'll be able to train again and we can have him for the weekend."
He had previously said on Saka: He's fine. We haven't trained, just recovered.
We have a short, light session today to prepare the game and we will see if he's in the best condition to start or not."
