We are Livesport s.r.o., with its registered office at Bucharova 2928/14a, Stodůlky, 158 00 Prague 5 Aspira Business Centre, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 113331, Czech Republic (“we”), and we operate a website and an application that bring you results, news, and other information from the world of sports (the “platform”).

By using our platform, your personal data may be processed. We process this personal data as personal data controllers, and by means of this Policy we would like to inform you about how we handle personal data.   1. SUMMARY

    We process personal data mainly for the following purposes:

    • To ensure the platform’s functionality and technical operation;

    • For the purposes of mutual communication;

    • For obtaining and researching feedback;

    • For recording and protecting rights and legal claims;

    • For other purposes listed in the privacy settings section on the website and in the application.

    • Below in this Privacy Policy, we will describe step by step which personal data we process, why we process it (the purposes), with whom we possibly share personal data, and what rights you have in connection with our processing.

  2. PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS

    In connection with your use of the platform, your personal data is processed. For ease of understanding, we have divided the personal data we may process into the following categories: 

    • Technical data: records related to your use of our platform, such as IP and MAC address, Geo IP, the type or number of your hardware, data about your operating system, the type and version of your browser, and user settings of the platform.

    • Pseudonymized device identifiers and related data: automatically generated pseudonymized identifiers of your device, usually in the form of the contents of cookies and similar technologies (e.g., tracking pixel) that we use on the platform, including the user identifier. Details are provided, in the case of web browsers, in the cookies banner available upon the first visit to the platform and subsequently via the privacy settings, and in the case of the mobile application upon the first launch of the application and subsequently in the privacy settings of the application.

    • Communication data: your email address and the information you provide to us during mutual communication, whether when contacting us via email or by using the contact form.

    • Survey results: your answers provided in feedback surveys completed directly within the platform.

    • Records with identifiers: randomly generated identifiers assigned to you for monitoring the functioning of the platform and reporting technical defects, or for other purposes that we have introduced for your protection.

    • Feedback on our platform: your feedback provided within publicly available sources, such as reviews on platforms offering our platform for download, or that you provide to us when communicating with us.

  3. WHY WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA (PURPOSES OF PROCESSING)

    1. TO ENSURE THE PLATFORM’S FUNCTIONALITY AND TECHNICAL OPERATION

      If you access our platform, whether you have a user account or not, we automatically start processing Technical data and Records with identifiers. We process these in order to ensure the technical operation of the platform, remove any reported technical errors, optimize, and ensure the security of the platform. We process all personal data for this purpose on the basis of our legitimate interest, which lies in ensuring the technical operation and security of the platform. We will process this data about you for no longer than the duration of your account with us, and if you do not have an account, then for 1 month.

      1. FOR THE PURPOSES OF MUTUAL COMMUNICATION

        If you decide to contact us, either directly or via the contact form, we will process Communication data and Technical data for the purpose of ensuring communication between you and us, on the basis of our legitimate interest. We will process this data until the end of the year following the year in which we received it. The reason for this length of processing is that in the event of future or delayed follow-up communication, we would like to return to the existing communication and clarify or supplement our next response accordingly.

      2. FOR OBTAINING AND RESEARCHING FEEDBACK

        Our platform could not function without you and your valuable feedback. Therefore, we also process your data for the purpose of obtaining and researching feedback, which takes place either in the form of a survey available on the platform or a special study that you can sign up for outside the platform, which contains more detailed information on the processing of your personal data and on the study itself.

        In the case of feedback via surveys, if you fill out the survey and give us your consent, which is the basis for such processing, we will process Survey results and Data related to registration and login, for 5 full calendar years from filling out the survey or until you withdraw your consent or raise an objection.

        Furthermore, we may also process your Feedback on our platform, on the basis of our legitimate interest to properly process this feedback with the aim to analysis and obtaining information for the operation and development of our platform. We will process the data no later than until the end of the year following the year in which we first processed such information. 

      3. FOR RECORDING AND PROTECTING RIGHTS AND LEGAL CLAIMS

        We have a legitimate interest in protecting our rights and our platform, and for this purpose we may, if necessary, process your personal data obtained in connection with other purposes, in particular Technical data, Communication data,  for as long as necessary to protect our own legal claims and to protect rights, at least 3 years from the cancellation of your account, and in other cases at least 3 years from the start of processing.

      4. FOR OTHER PURPOSES LISTED IN THE PRIVACY SETTINGS SECTION ON THE WEBSITE AND IN THE APPLICATION

        In connection with your visit to our platform, Technical data, Pseudonymized device identifiers, and related data may be stored on your device and accessed (for example in the form of cookies).

         Individual processing operations may take place automatically in cases where the processing is necessary for providing and maintaining our services, and is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest. In other cases, we only process (store on your device and access) Technical data, Pseudonymized device identifiers, and related data on the basis of your consent granted via the privacy settings.

        More information on individual processing, including information on the duration of the processing and recipients of personal data, can be found in the privacy settings of the website or application, or in another document we publish.

    2. SHARING PERSONAL DATA

      We carry out personal data processing as personal data controllers. However, sometimes we do not carry out the processing ourselves. We may use our partners and other companies to help us with processing for individual purposes. Alternatively, we may share personal data with entities in cases where the law requires us to do so, or we are authorized to share personal data. For all other entities with whom we share personal data, the single term “recipient” of personal data is used. Depending on the specific case and our respective platform that you visit, some of these recipients may be:

      • Persons who provide technical activities for us, including those providing hosting services and development services;

      • Persons who, in accordance with our instructions, provide marketing services for us;

      • Other companies from the Livesport Group;

      • Companies that enable registration through their service (such as Google, Apple, Meta, etc.) when registering a user account;

      • Providers of software tools for obtaining and processing feedback, as well as external suppliers involved in feedback research;

      • Government authorities in cases of fulfilling legal obligations;

      • In individual cases, our legal, tax, accounting, or security advisors;

      • Partners listed here;

      • In the case of the processing of pseudonymized device identifiers and related data, also the partners listed in the privacy settings of the website and the application.

      • When sharing personal data, we take care to protect your personal data and comply with the rules valid for the EU for any transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA. This means that if we share your personal data with recipients outside the EU/EEA, this only takes place if the country where the recipient is located is on the list of countries with an adequate level of protection, or a sufficient level of data protection is ensured by other mechanisms (for example here).

    4. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROCESSING AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM

      We respect that you also have various rights in connection with the personal data we process. In the following section, you will learn what they are and how you can exercise them.

      If you have any questions related to the described processing purposes or other parts of this Policy, do not hesitate to write to us for detailed information. We will be happy to answer you.

      Right of access. You have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed by us. If we confirm that it is being processed, then you have the right to request a copy of this personal data, and information related to its processing, for example regarding the purposes for which we process the personal data, to whom it is disclosed or transferred, how long we will process it, etc.
      Right to withdraw consent. If you have given us consent to the processing of personal data, you can also withdraw this consent at any time. In such a case, we will immediately stop processing your personal data for the purposes for which the consent was obtained. By withdrawing your consent, however, you will not affect the fact that prior to the withdrawal, we processed your personal data lawfully. You can withdraw your consent by selecting your preference in the appropriate settings on the platform, or in your profile, or by sending your withdrawal of consent to our contact address. If you want to withdraw your consent to receiving commercial communications, you can withdraw it by clicking on “Unsubscribe” or a similar button.

      Right to rectification. You have the right to request that we correct or supplement your personal data. Contact us and, if it is possible to factually fulfill your request, we will make the correction.

      Right to erasure (right to be forgotten). You can ask us to erase your personal data and we will gladly do so unless there is a specific reason for retaining it.

      Right to restrict processing. You can ask us to temporarily restrict the processing of your personal data. If there is a legal reason for your request, we will comply.

      Right to data portability. If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent or for the performance of a contract, you have the right to obtain this data from us in a structured and commonly used format. We can also, at your instruction, transfer the personal data to another controller, but only if the transfer is technically feasible.

      Right to object. We will not continue to process your personal data if you object, and until we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests or rights and freedoms, or if we need your data for the establishment, exercise, or defense of our legal claims.

      Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you believe that we are not processing your personal data correctly, you have the option to contact our Data Protection Officer or to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection, with its seat at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.
