Wolves matchwinner Joao Moutinho: We controlled everything against Man Utd

Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho was proud to prove the matchwinner at Manchester United last night.

Moutinho dedicated his goal celebration afterwards to his family - including his three-month-old baby daughter.

He told Sky Sports: "What I want is to help the team. Winning here at Old Trafford against a big team is amazing for us.

"We came here to play football, play with the ball, that's what we do. We created a lot of shots in the first half.

"They changed a little bit to three centre backs like us. We controlled everything. We only let them create one opportunity on the bar.

"We deserved it because of what we did over 90 minutes. I hope we can continue with this performance."

When asked about his goal, Moutinho described his finish as 'beautiful' ands says he needs to try and shoot more.

He said: "Phil Jones headed out the ball. I tried to see where it went. [After] my first touch I said I need to shoot. That's what I need to do, to shoot more. A beautiful goal.

"We did a great job, not only me and Neves, all the team, we deserve this victory and I hope we can continue.

"I tried to see where the ball goes and when I do the first touch I said to myself I need to shoot.

"That's what I need to do - I need to shoot more. It doesn't need to be a beautiful goal.'

Moutinho added: "I have a baby, three months. My two daughters, my wife, I did this celebration for them."
