Brentford, Bournemouth eyeing Coventry striker Simms

Several Premier League clubs are looking at signing a Coventry City star in the off-season.

According to The Sun, Ellis Simms is being linked to two top flight clubs this summer.

The 23-year-old has 19 goals in 52 games in all competitions, as he aims to reach the 20 goal barrier for the first time in his career.

Brentford and Bournemouth, who are both likely to lose their main strikers, want a replacement.

The Bees will be looking for an Ivan Toney replacement, while Bournemouth may lose Dominic Solanke.

Simms would be an affordable option for either team, with the former Blackburn Rovers and Man City youth star seeing his stock rise immensely this term.
