Wolves are closing on a new deal with Joao Moutinho.

Talks over a new two-year contract for Wolves midfielder Moutinho are at an advanced stage, says the Express & Star.

The 33-year-old Portuguese midfielder has been a revelation since being signed for £5million from Monaco last year, and the club are determined to keep him around.

The Euro 2016-winner's current deal expires at the end of the season, but him staying for two more is being discussed, and negotiations are understood to be well on their way to being concluded.

Moutinho arrived after trophy-laden spells at Sporting, Porto and Monaco, and was instrumental as Wolves enjoyed vast success last season.
