Wilder happy with Sheffield Utd hit-out against Dundee Utd

Chris Wilder was pleased with Sheffield United despite their friendly with Dundee United being abandoned at half-time due to inclement weather.

Billy Sharp had put the Blades ahead before a heavy downpour forced the match to be called off at half-time.

Speaking after the game, Wilder said: "I don't have any problems with the decision. I've known Micky Mellon for a long time.

"We've managed to get 45 minutes and even though we'd have liked 60 or so, that's better than nothing and you can always take something from whatever situation."

The Blades boss was also asked about the club's transfer activity.

"I think it (the window) always feels slow," he said.

"I'm so impatient its frightening, and I'm always asking and putting huge pressure on the people around me. They understand that, they know it's not personal.

"It's a different market and you have to look at that. We've made one big signing this summer and I'm delighted we've made it."
