Watford boss Pearson seeks buyers for three defenders

New Watford boss Nigel Pearson is prepared to oversee the departures of three defenders this month.

Pearson hopes to be busy in the market this month and is keen to make room for new additions.

TMW says Marvin Zeegelaar, Sebastian Prodl and José Holebas could all be offloaded in the coming weeks.

Zeegelaar is a target for Watford's Italian sister club Udinese, while Prodl and Holebas also won't be short of offers.

Pearson has made an immediate impact since his appointment, guiding Watford to three wins and a draw in his first five games in charge.
