Aston Villa have turned down the chance to sign Gareth Barry on loan from City for the new season, reports talkSPORT. The 32-year-old former Villa player now appears to be out of favour with new boss Manuel Pellegrini and was offered to the Midlands outfit on a temporary basis.
But Villans boss Paul Lambert has turned down the chance as he is only interested in signing players under the age of 24.
