Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar has suffered an injury on international duty with Holland.
Vlaar limped off after just 24 minutes of the Netherlands' friendly against Mexico on Wednesday night with what was reported to be a calf problem.
The severity of the injury is currently unknown, but it could leave Villa increasingly short on options at the back with Nathan Baker and Philippe Senderos already giving Paul Lambert cause for concern.
