Man Utd co-owner Ratcliffe announces Stewart and Baty exits; Blanc steps up

Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has continued his overhaul of the club.

The Red Devils have announced more changes to their background setup this week.

Patrick Stewart, interim CEO, and Cliff Baty, Chief Financial Officer, have left the club.

Ratcliffe said: “I would like to personally thank both Patrick and Cliff for their support in helping us get to know the club and making us feel welcome and I respect their decisions to now move on as we establish a new management team for the club."

Stewart will be replaced as interim CEO by Jean-Claude Blanc, with Omar Berrada still completing gardening leave.

The club are still working on bringing in Dan Ashworth in from Newcastle United as sporting director.
