Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is determined to tempt Arjen Robben away from Bayern Munich. The Daily Express says Van Gaal has asked United to do everything they can to bring Robben back to the Premier League, where he previously had a spell at Chelsea.
The Dutch winger has become a mainstay in the Bayern Munich side as they have emerged as a European powerhouse in recent years.
And the German giants have no intention of letting their prize asset depart in the near future, despite the fact that he is approaching his 31st birthday.
However, reports suggest that Bayern could change their stance if Robben publicly states his desire to move on.
It is suggested that United would be willing to offer up to £24m to secure Robben's signature in January.
