Swansea City are ready to complete the signing of Monarcas de Morelia winger Jefferson Montero.
The Mirror says the Ecuadorian winger was wanted by Premier League rivals West Ham and Southampton, but has agreed to join Garry Monk's side pending a medical, and will fly into London shortly to complete the formalities of his move to the Liberty Stadium.
Montero will sign from Mexican club Monarcas de Morelia, but has La Liga experience with Real Betis, Villarreal and Levante.
He will sign on a three-year deal, with the club retaining an option for a fourth.
