STUNNER! Fergie meets with Real Madrid star Ronaldo about Man Utd return

Sir Alex Ferguson has launched a charm offensive to bring Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo back to Manchester United. The Sun on Sunday says Ferguson is trying to convince Real Madrid star Ronaldo to come back to Manchester United after the pair had dinner in Madrid last Tuesday.

The 30-year-old forward left United for £80 million in 2009 and only signed a news deal at the Santiago Bernabeu 18 months ago but there is growing uncertainty surrounding his future at the Spanish giants.

Ronaldo has seen Real's form drop dramatically since the New Year and there is concern from his camp that president Florentino Perez believes he's past his peak..

United are planning for another big spending summer and have the cash power to bring the 30 year-old 'home'.
