Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid is looking forward to the attacking relationship that Obafemi Martins and Eddie Johnson are set to form.
Former Inter Milan and Newcastle United striker Martins is back from Nigeria duty whilst ex-Fulham forward Johnson has completed his USA obligations and Schmid is excited about what they can bring to the table along with Honduran midfielder Mario Martinez who will soon arrive on loan.
"I think we're a little bit sharper, maybe up to a serrated edge," Schmid told reporters on Thursday.
"There's a speed element that's there with Eddie and Oba. With Mario, there's shots from distance and service on set pieces that gets added and his passing ability.
"All of them are important pieces of the puzzle. At the moment we got to get everything sorted away and then give that group a little time to play together."
