Scott Parker tells Club Brugge fans: With me, it's no sweat, no glory!

Scott Parker is delighted taking charge of Club Brugge.

The former Fulham and Bournemouth manager was named Club Brugge coach last week and was presented to local media on Monday.

"After a few in-depth discussions with the board, I could perfectly agree with the vision of the club," said Parker, when asked why he took the job.

“Blue and black has a great history, this is the perfect move for me," says Parker. “I am a passionate coach and I want to do a good job in the best possible conditions.

“This is a young core that still needs to develop further. I think you can say based on my past that I'm good at that. So I have a good feeling about this club!"

The former Chelsea and Newcastle midfielder continued: "The image I was told is completely perfect. The club fits my vision.

“This was the best choice I could make as a young coach. Club and I are a good match, I already feel that.

“My coaching style? I am intense.

“No sweat, no glory: that suits me. You can expect one million percent surrender from my team."
