Robinson: Leeds fans will be happy seeing Bielsa back in Prem

Former goalkeeper Paul Robinson says Leeds United supporters will be happy if ex-boss Marcelo Bielsa is back at their stadium in the near future.

Robinson knows very well the affection that Leeds supporters hold for Bielsa, who got them promoted from the Championship to the Premier League.

There are suggestions that Bielsa will take over as Bournemouth manager during the World Cup break.

Football Insider has also linked him to Everton, where Frank Lampard is in some danger of losing his job.

"There'd be no animosity towards Marcelo Bielsa whatsoever," the former Leeds goalkeeper revealed to MOT Leeds News.

"The job that man did at the club will go down in legendary status forever. There's only one club that Leeds fans would have a problem with him going to and that's Manchester United.

"But in all honesty, hand on heart, the fans would be delighted for him if he got a job of that caliber. If he comes back to the Premier League, it'll be great to see Bielsa back at Elland Road."
