Leroy Sane wants to quit Manchester City next month for Bayern Munich.

While he's still recovering from knee surgery, BILD says he'd prefer to complete his rehab as a Bayern player.

The German giants were all set to sign Sane in August before he broke down in the Community Shield shootout victory over Liverpool.

Bayern have maintained contact and it's suggested a January agreement would appeal.

For their part, City accept they must sell Sane and are insisting on an initial valuation of €150m.
