Ronald Koeman will walk away from Barcelona with a €12m payoff.

Rayo Vallecano's victory over Barca last night saw coach Koeman sacked.

El Pais says the Dutchman will leave with a hefty payoff to the tune of €12m.

Barca president Joan Laporta made the call just hours after the final whistle last night, with the Dutchman being informed of his dismissal on the flight back to Barcelona.

Koeman lasts less than 18 months in the post.
