Former Liverpool winger Maxi Rodriguez is backing his old team to beat Tottenham in the Champions League final.
The Argentine followed the same career path as Mauricio Pochettino - leaving Newell's Old Boys for Espanyol - and has revealed he will be supporting Jurgen Klopp's side on June 1.
He told Fox Sports: "Fair play is different in England and you have to learn fast and respect it. When I went to Liverpool, I had to adapt.
"I played with Pochettino, but I want Liverpool to be champions.
"Anfield is one of the best stadiums I have played in. The atmosphere and the people there are amazing."
The Argentinian forward is now back with Newell's and continued: "English football now has a clear long-term strategy and a plan.
"You can see the results, all four finalists in Europe are English and they did well in the last World Cup.
"Liverpool couldn't win the Premier League because of how Manchester City were playing. I love how Liverpool are playing. This kind of competition will only make both teams better."
