Real Sociedad captain Oyarzabal discusses futures of Zubimedi, Merino and Le Normand

Real Sociedad captain Mikel Oyarzabal admits they could lose major players this summer.

Martín Zubimedi, Mikel Merino and Robin Le Normand are all attracting interest from bigger clubs.

Oyarzabal said: "Speculation is always part of football, of this world we are in... When the time comes, if it comes, we will see. In the end, everyone will see what they do."

Oyarzabal was then questioned one by one of the three. On Zubimendi he said, "I see Martín happy at Real, in his house, with his friends, with the friends he has here too, who are not few, and I see him calm. He is a calm boy who does not go crazy. If it were up to me, let him continue here for many years, because I also don't know if he has realized that we can do many things.

"The club is growing and in a good moment. Although, well, I insist, in the end the decision is up to each individual. He will be respected whatever it is."

Regarding Merino, he said: "From time to time I tell him something, but very little. A bit the same. I have a very good relationship with him, we know when we can talk or not. If it were up to me, the answer is clear, but then the decision is up to everyone. I see them both calm, wanting to finish the year well here and for Real to be in Europe for another year and to have the chance to play here again if they want."

Lastly, he said of Le Normand: "Yes, well, Real has given you a lot here, but there are moments and moments. I don't know what any of the three are going to do, but what I am sure of is that we have to respect them.

"I would stay with all the We are here this year, but we know that football works like this, it takes many turns, there are many changes and we must respect them. This does not mean judging someone, but on the contrary, supporting them and highlighting that everyone is very prepared for this end of the year. And then in summer we will see."
