Real Madrid great Luis Figo says president Florentino Perez has apologised for recorded past comments made.
The clips, which were picked up by the newspaper El Confidencial, feature the Real Madrid president slamming a host of former club legends including Figo.
The Portuguese forward commented on the situation at the end of the 'El Clasico Legends' match in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
"I believe that, in a private conversation, there can be expressions that are out of context." Figo said.
Figo went on to reveal that Perez has since apologised to him after the secretly recorded conversations came to light.
"As I said, it was a private conversation, and [Perez] apologised, so for me the matter is closed," he said.
