QPR hero Kevin Gallen says manager Harry Redknapp needs to step up his transfer plans.
QPR have already made two signings this summer, snapping up ex-Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand and Cardiff centre-back Steven Caulker.
But former Rs striker Gallen told the Daily Express: "I think they need another 6 signings. They need another two strikers because we have Bobby [Zamora] and Charlie [Austin] and that's pretty much it.
"You can't go into a new season with just two strikers.
"One will pick up an injury and a loss of form. You need at least three more strikers that can come in and do the business because they need the goals to stay up.
"I wouldn't be surprised if two more strikers, a midfielder, a right back, a left back and a centre half comes in."
